My other series is called the Northern Michigan Asylum series. These are stand-alone novels that weave elements of hauntings, family secrets, and murder mysteries - all connected in some way to the Northern Michigan Asylum.

The asylum is inspired by a real place here in Traverse City, formerly known as the Traverse City State Hospital. It’s a sprawling series of enormous and hauntingly beautiful buildings that once housed as many as 3,000 patients during its time of operation from the late 1800s until it was shuttered in 1989.
