Meet J.R.

I’m J.R., also known as Jacki Riegle, and I’m the narrator of the Bitter Endings Podcast.

I started Bitter Endings because I have a lifelong interest in people’s reasons. Like many, I’m drawn to seeking a deeper understanding of why people hurt one another. This interest is at the heart of why I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology and it’s also the driving force in my fiction novels. I’m curious about both victims and perpetrators.

I’m also drawn to the sharing of these stories because I think they teach us how to be more aware in the world. I also believe victims families need all the help they can get when a loved one has been murdered. I can only imagine what an overwhelming experience it would be to lose someone I love to violence and how helpless it would feel if months or years passed without resolution.
