Carol Ann Cole, a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan vanished after moving to Texas with her mother when she was just fifteen years old. Her whereabouts would remain a mystery for thirty-plus years until a chance discovery on the internet connected her disappearance to a Louisiana Jane Doe.

Stacey Chahorski from Norton Shores, Michigan was nineteen, when she vanished while hitchhiking from North Carolina back to Michigan. Her remains would go unidentified for decades until genetic genealogy finally connected her to the body of a strangled woman in Georgia.
