Almost five decades ago on January 23rd, 1974, 56-year-old Athalia Ponsell Lindsley was brutally attacked and murdered on the front steps of her home in St. Augustine, Florida. A month later, a man was arrested and charged with her murder—and yet, to this day, the case remains officially unsolved.
